Where Misewou came from
Misewou started as a straightforward observation: people in rural Ireland had almost no structured way to learn about personal finance. The platform was built in Co. Wexford to solve exactly that — not to disrupt anything, just to fill a real gap with well-organised, practical content.
What the platform actually covers
Each of the 8 learning tracks is built around a specific financial situation — not abstract theory. Learners work through topics like managing irregular income, reading a payslip correctly, or understanding how Irish tax credits apply to their circumstances.
Topics covered across tracks
- Personal budgeting for variable monthly income
- Irish PAYE, USC and PRSI explained without jargon
- Building a 6-month emergency fund on a modest salary
- Reading and comparing financial products — loans, accounts, pensions
